A selection of photographs of “The Great Migration”. Paul McDougall is a wildlife photographer with a West Country connection. In 2003 he spent 8 months travelling overland through Africa, taking in 23 different countries: – Morocco, Mauratania, Mali, Burkino Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and finally South Africa.
In 2005 Paul achived a bronze level in guiding (Kenyan Park Services Guiding Association.) During the three months it took to achieve this, Paul assisted in the formation of Wild Connection Safaris, becoming a partner in the business.
In 2006, Paul personally led a safari in Kenya and also squeezed in a short excursion to India to photograph tigers with wildlife photographer Chris Brunskill.
Since 2006 Paul has been returning to Kenya leading tours and photographic tours to the National Parks and Reserves, whilst also investing time and resources in to Wild Connection Safaris.
