Plymouth’s unique performance and spoken word group WonderZoo are creating a garden party with a difference for this year’s Plymouth Art Weekender.
Artist Chi Bennett will be creating a mural in Adelaide Lane, Stonehouse, on the back gates of the garden, which will be accompanied by a small exhibition of work by visual artists Chi, Gabi Marcellus-Temple, Peter Davey and Matt Thomas and sound artist HiP.P, all of which will be made available online.
There will then be an evening of performance, song, poetry and fiction, with Gabi Marcellus-Temple, Peter Davey, Matt Thomas, William Telford and compere Chi Bennett, livestreamed from a Stonehouse garden. A video of the performances will also be published after the event.
