Photography. Club Focus, which meets every Monday at the Future Inn, Plymouth International Business Park, between 7pm and 9pm, encourages both new and experienced photographers to develop their abilities in a friendly and welcoming environment.
From simple point and shoot camera-users who take snap shots to experienced photographers, the club says it welcomes all and focuses on improving skills rather than holding competitions.
The club’s new programme includes guest speakers, skills workshops as well as field trips and social events.
Mac Graham, club chairman, said: “We welcome people at our club, whatever their level of expertise. Traditionally camera clubs focus on competitions but we wanted to create a totally different club with a relaxed atmosphere and actively encourage members to share their knowledge so that we can all constantly improve our knowledge and expertise.”
